Previously 'The Nose Bar' Chenin continues the long established tradition as Cape Town’s original and award winning wine bar.

Complemented by our creative lunch, tapas and dinner menus, our wine list offers over 80 wines with 40 of these by the glass.

The list is extensive, organised by grape and frequently updated, so there is always something new to try. We will often have special offers on guest wines featured from local farms, as well as high value deals on bin end stock.

To add to your enjoyment of wine, Chenin runs a variety of informative wine events including appreciation courses, wine farm portfolio tastings, varietal tastings and themed wine and food pairing nights throughout the year. You can meet the winemakers in person as they talk through their portfolios and expertly explain the methods and processes they use.
